I still have this thing, huh?
I'm becoming more and more terrible about keeping contact.
Last week I was in Virginia, awkwardly trying to spend time with my aunt and cousins while my uncle flipped between being a passive visitor and an empassioned homeowner and father.
It was interesting, to say the least.
Returned home on Monday night, and come Tuesday morning Matt and I sat down to discuss finances. Again. Seems like we do this a lot lately. We have money. It just keeps disappearing. But we'll be fine.
He's learned, over the last two days, what happens when you don't pay old speeding tickets, don't change your address through the post office (thus, missing notices about bills past due), and what happens when your girlfriend finds out you blew $25 to transfer a level 29 WoW character to your account without telling her first.
But all that is neither here nor there. The real point is that I have a cold and that makes me cranky. And I have to work tomorrow/overnight, and Saturday all day. And that makes me super-cranky.
I did receive a call while I was in Virginia, however, that made me pretty happy. Meliss is going to be around for the holidays, and we're going shopping. :) Still must remember to returned a few more phone calls before this weekend. Which, I probably won't....
Hell, if I told you I'd call, and haven't yet, feel free to remind me. I suck at this. :(
