Seriously, this is the nicest day I've had in a while. I wake up this morning and go to my first class (that I had slept through on Monday) and get my fourth paper back, learning that I had received an A- on the first paper that counted toward the actual grade in the course. The class itself was really relaxed since we just handed in drafts of our fifth paper and just got to chill for a while.
I came back to my room and set all my stuff down and went to get a haircut in New Brunswick as I haven't had a haircut since June and I had started to look somewhat similar to a mop lately. The barber that cut my hair was very nice and he gave me a cookie as I was leaving. It was a very good cookie!
I came back, took a shower, happy that it only took a matter of seconds to thoroughly dry my hair instead of a half hour. I look so much better when I have a beard with shorter hair; I hate having short hair and being clean-shaven. I had plenty of time, so I cranked out the flash contest results while watching JACK BAUER kick some sweet ass on a 24 rerun.
After 24 was over, I decided to go over my less-than-desirable schedule for next term that I set up last night, and just for the hell of it, I decided to check on the two classes I wanted to take as a fifth class instead of Quantitative Methods with a universally reviled professor teaching it. Lo and behold, the Intro to American Studies course that both fit into the rest of my schedule and that I desperately wanted to take had added another section! Fucking score; webreg sign-in, course code enter, click button, presto. After I get my Spanish placement worked out tomorrow, I'll be able to drop Quant. Methods and have a pretty ideal schedule. I couldn't be any more pumped right now.
I leave in about an hour for my political science lecture and with the luck I've been having today, it wouldn't surprise me if some random hot woman on the street led me into a bathroom to give me a blowjob or something on the way.
