i have two heroes. they are both dead. their names were douglas adams and kurt vonnegut.
they have other things in common too. they were both writers. they both spoke to me telepathically even though i had never met either of them. in order to do it they used arcane little symbols printed on sheets of ground-up trees. these symbols allowed the ideas in their heads to be put into my head.
they were both science fiction writers. i don't think kurt vonnegut would have appreciated that designation, but it remains true of most of his work. douglas adams wrote some things that weren't science fiction as well, but still most of his books were definitely in that category.
they were both cynical in a way that made other people happy.
douglas adams was an atheist. kurt vonnegut was a humanist, which is basically someone that believes that it doesn't matter whether or not you believe in god.
anyway they are both dead. i was just thinking about that i guess.

punxgiving was fun. a good amount of people came. a lot of food was eaten, which is sort of the idea.
i think there are some pictures of it, but i don't have many of them. someone should give them to me, especially the confetti vomit pictures.
