Things and stuff
i've been typing emails and proper rubrics and all kinds of crap where i have to capitalize all the time and it's hard to break the habit when i'm typing emails to my friends or stuff like livejournal posts. one small annoyance about working in an environment that demands proper computer etiquette and stuff.
so this past weekend i thought i got fired. i thought i had pissed off my principal inadvertently or something and she had fired me without telling me. i was really pissed and stressed all weekend and i was already looking for other jobs and shit. turns out about 600 people in fwisd got that letter and went through similar shit. it was even on the news. pretty fascinating.
we took taks test today and i can't talk about it because maybe the TEA reads my livejournal or something.
last weekend lacey, rick, lindsay (lindsey?), bobby and i went to the batting cages. i actually hit some balls! it made me way stoked about the possibility of playing baseball. maybe if it's nice this weekend lacey and i will go to the mclean baseball field and hit some balls around. maybe we'll play some baseball too! (too obvious?)
i've been eating a lot of fruit lately. so that's cool.
i'm installing star wars battlefront right now.
my sister is in the process of buying my car. i ride my bike to work every day and we have lacey's car. i was driving my car about 3 times a month and there's no reason to keep paying on it for that. we aren't making any money on the deal but at least we won't have to pay for insurance and payments.
in addition to adding a lovely blueberry of a car to their family, my sister and her husband are having a baby soon. pretty amazing. i summed up my feelings pretty well when i heard: "i'm really glad i'm gonna be an uncle and not a father."
in other news, everybody call my mom granny from now on. especially if you don't want her to talk to you.
we are going to day two of chaos in tejas to see dillinger four. i'm pretty excited. i gotta ask dustin if we can sleep on his floor i guess because it's also graduation weekend which means there are no hotels or anything available in the entire fucking city of austin.
so yeah. i posted.
also, everybody read the god delusion by richard dawkins. it's fucking awesome. it makes me proud to be an atheist.
