Almost done. One more exam to go tomorrow and I'm done. I think I'm almost at the point where I don't even care anymore whether I pass or fail, I just want them over with. The regular year-end exams were nowhere near this hard. >< By the way, good luck to everyone else in the middle of testing!
In other news, I've been writing lyrics like crazy lately. Music too, but I think Kamio-kun's better that than I am. The lyrics, though... it's like the creation of the band broke some sort of dam inside me, and I can't keep up with the thoughts sometimes. Good or bad, I'm getting a lot of stuff written down. We'll have to see how it goes.
Speaking of the band, we had the auditions last Friday. Of the people who showed up, two demanded to be lead vocals. Um, no, so we booted them right away. I didn't even wait for Kamio-kun to spazz about it before I told them to take a walk. The drummer, a guy fromm SeiRu of all places, wasn't half-bad. He actually knew some basic beats. He was still a beginner like myself and Kamio-kun, though, which actually made me feel better than if he'd been really good. ^^; But he's still in middle school next year and doesn't know how often his parents will let him practice with us. They don't approve 100% of his drum-playing, even though he saved up and bought the set with his own money. So we may or may not need another one when we play live. The other guitarist was... awful. >< He had plenty of energy, but he couldn't even hold the guitar correctly, never mind play. We told him we'd have to see, now it's just a matter of letting him down gently. Any advice on that? >.>;;
Oh, and Kamio-kun? A question. What's our band's name? ^^;; It occurred to me this morning that I had no idea what we were calling ourselves.
