BUSYYYYY BUSY BUSY

God where do I start?

Busy at dayjob, deadline looming etc. etc. Some of the big dogs sat us down for a two part meeting illustrating just what our company does in great detail...and I am fascinated. I have so much more respect for my company now that I know the history of it and exactly where our interests lie. Without boring you I will say this: my company was originally formed during a major anti-trust suit brought against American music publishing society ASCAP in the 1980's. Bad. Ass.

Busy at weekendjob too, working every other Sunday, with extra shifts sprinkled here and there when I'm needed (which lately has been a lot). Also, I'm helping Jenny plan more charity fund raising bake sales, one for each month in 2010. The bake sale for Haiti was so amazingly successful that Home Ec will be bringing it back to benefit more organizations. Very cool.

Social life has been packed. Age is staying with Frank and I, over the weekend funnyandydick and michellynntires came from Tucson and saw Pee-wee Herman with us. Superbowl party yesterday. Yadda.

Re: New Year's Resolution #1, I've logged 10/100 hours of bicycling. I'm where I should be if I plan to evenly distribute the hours through the entire year, but I'd actually prefer to be ahead of that. BUT I'm where I should be, so I'll take it.

I never have time for chores or basic housekeeping tasks anymore, much less my own creative endeavors. Even when I get time for embroidery I don't want to do it because I just hate sitting anymore...it's all I do sometimes and the idea of sitting again at the end of a full day of sitting makes me cringe. When I HAVE pushed myself to stitch I've been working on a massive project I began about a month ago: a Sesame Street tote bag which I'll be auctioning online for Leukemia research. The where when and how will be hammered out once the embroidery is behind me.

More to follow.
