Frank and I went to the Pacific Gravity Home Brew Club meeting last night. Last night's beer tasting focused on sour beers. I decided to go because I knew they'd be serving Rodenbach. They did. Mission accomplished.
The little glass in Frank's hand is a tasting glass and people bring their own to tastings usually. Some of the hardcore brew guys have little tasting glass holders that go around their necks. I was impressed. Last night's meeting, like all the meetings, are held at the Culver City Home Brewing Supply Co. located on Sepulveda, south of the 10. If you are at all interested in brewing your own beer I highly recommend trying, it is so fun and it's a hobby you can share with your friends. If you live in Southern California I can't recommend this shop highly enough - the people who work here really know their stuff and are extremely helpful. Hooray for beer!
