(no subject)
Being home for thanksgiving was amazing. I saw a tooooooooooooon of friends and family and had such a great time just being with everyone. I love it i love it i love it. And I got many surprises this weekend... such a blessing to have wonderful men in my life who take goooood freakin care of me... my uncle, Ryan, and Ray Moats. My Uncle and Ryan took me to change my oil and have my car checked and paid for it, then my uncle took me shopping, then gave Ry and I money for a good dinner, then Ray gave Cassie Lindsay and I money to go out, paid for our nice lunch today, and he gave me a hefty check before I left town today. AND my Grandma gave me this giant suitcase that I desperately need to lug all of my stuff + new stuff + christmas gifts up to Ohio. My old bag was rippping and becoming no good. I feel so incredibly blessed, you just don't even know. I don't know what I did to deserve such amazing friends and family!! The Wilsons are good to me as always too. They give me a place to stay and feed me. I love and miss them always.
Ummm... Kayla and I are going to apply to transfer to UCF. I love it here, but I really just want to use my pre-paid college and not have to take out GIANT loans, and live with Kay, and be closer to Lakeland. And.. I can save up money for my missions trip to Trinidad that I'm going on over Spring break. We'll be working at a medical clinic there.
Then since I won't have to pay for school my mom is also going to help send me to Mozambique, Africa for a month over summer. I will live with Jerry and Dimitri who we sponsor over there through the Cliff Lafferty Foundation and I'll be working in the orphanage with her. I CAN'T WAIT!
I really don't know why I am so blessed, but I am... it's wonderful to walk in the Lord's favor! Just be obedient and He'll provide everything you need! I went in to all of this not knowing what I was going to do or how I'd have the money to do it, but I just prayed about it and asked God what's up and everything has just been coming together since then.
Trevor called me today. He's doing good... just waiting to be stationed in Pensacola.
