Just thought of something interesting. I am the sort of person that wants to believe in the paranormal. I want to believe in ghosts, monsters, aliens, UFOs, secret societies and Nessie.

But in all my years, I have never seen anything that a few moments of investigation can't deem to be something totally earthly

humans are vile vicious rats and vermin, anything beautiful is made profane and anything wonderful is exploited into extinction,
anything worthwhile therefore must learn to outwit at least the lowest of the malformed creatures that haunt this earth: the reporter or 'nark'

miracles of the paranormal are the fact that sometimes things work out okay.

and their reality of expecting you to just be there when necessary to keep their flow of reality constant, is more important than your desire for rest or logic.

you must believe in worship and dedication, that is the only thing to believe in.

I *have* experienced the weird and paranormal, I have gotten that shiver up my spine, and some of it I could explain, and some I really couldn't, not in a way that was rational

At least you are honest enough with yourself to follow your rational mind, rather than allow your emotions to take control and tell you what you "ought" to be experiencing in these places.
