So the Bradley weekend was pretty much amazing. I had a ton of fun, and it was great to see everyone again.

On Friday I washed my car, then went frolfing with Dank and Jake and went to KFC/Taco Bell for lunch. After that, Dank and I drove down to ISU where I dropped Dank off, and then made my way over to Bradley. Very excited "Hellos" were exchanged, I scared the crap out of Sarah, and then Ryan, Mike, Don, and I went frolfing over in Morton. The course there is GORGEOUS. There's a hole where you throw off a cliff, another one where there's a cliff plus an almost-island hole, and multiple holes with actual fairways. Like, mowed fairways. And this sport is free. I don't understand it, but I sure do love it. Anyway, afterwards we drove back, hung out for a while, and then went over to Relay for Life and walked with Becca and Tonya for a little bit before watching a surprisingly decent and progressively better Barbecue Kittens comedy show. We went to bed early due to awesome Saturday plans, which I will now recount for your enjoyment.

Don, Mike, and I woke up Saturday and went over to Cub Foods to buy things for our COOKOUT!!! We got brats, hotdogs, and burgers, and chips, and pop, and all sorts of good stuff. Then we went over to Bradley park and cooked everything up. A fun time was had by all. Guests included Robin and Chaz dressed in Flintstones attire, Marty, Becca, Tonya, and Ryan. The food was delicious - Mike makes awesome toasted garlic buns that I've never had before but always want from now on. After that we went frolfing with Nick and some of his buddies. The evening consisted of more chilling and visiting with people I haven't seen for some time.

Sunday was the lazy day. We got up a tad late, then headed over to Taco Bell for some delicious eats. After that we went frolfing with Nick and Karen (is that how you spell her name?) at ICC, which is basically like frolfing in the woods. It was pretty ridiculous, and while it was definitely a challenge and all, I didn't like it that much. It's a course that asks way too much of mediocre players like myself. The most fun was when Don, Mike, and Nick started building trees. Or rather, sticking large sticks in the middle of fairways and stuff. Tee hee~! Anyway, we got back, showered, and then went to the DASHBOARD CONCERT!!! The opener sucked though. But Dashboard freaking rocked. I had an awesome time singing along with the songs, and I found out what a good singer Chris Carabba is. That bumps him up a huge notch in my book, and I think I can safely say that Dashboard is "arguably one of my top five favorite bands." Wink wink, Don...

And that was the weekend, I left Monday at around noon, picked up Dank, and drove home to my dentist appointment where I got new teeth! Well, sort of. They're basically dentures, but I look normal, and they don't feel too bad. And the successor to Montezuma, Lord of the Trees (RIP) arrived today from California. Continuing in the vein of Aztec/Mayan/Incan-related names, his name is Topiltzin, or Topi for short, and I shall take better care of him than I did Monty. Although Monty's death was probably unavoidable due to the lack of sun my dorm window got. And Quetzie the free fish was probably half dead when I got him. Anyway, I vow that Topi will grow to prodigious heights. You heard it here first.
