(no subject)
so even though this has been a really busy week, a couple of good things have happened so far. i'm pretty sure i got the internship i wanted at the graphic design studio and next year i'll be the music director of wake radio. oh, and rachel got us front row tickets to feist in june. i'm pretty excited, in general. now i just need to figure out where i'm going to live over the summer. fun times.
on friday, my english class is going to virginia to see a play in a recreation olde english playhouse. sure that sounds kind of lame, but it means 1) we don't have class and 2) i get an excused absence from italian. considering i've skipped that class a lot recently, i'm probably going to fail. oh well. i couldn't be happier to be spending 3 hours in a van.
oh and sunday night, i had the pleasure of being on the quad while a late night naked lap was taking place. about 25 naked frat guys were coming around the corner when i stepped out of subway, minding my own business. the subway ladies started screaming...it was pretty awesome. despite being somewhat frightened myself, i really did enjoy hearing those ladies yell "No sir, oh no!" and waving their hands about. it was a very college moment. i'm just glad i wasn't around for the second lap where i hear they threw eggs at people.
but now i'm off to finish a paper and an art project. i just keep telling myself to make it to the arcade fire/national show and then everything will be ok. so now i'm counting the down the days until 5/2. i'm in love with Boxer already so i really expect this to be the highlight of my year.
fun fact: i will turn 21 in new york at cmj this year. woot.
