i was trying to think if i actually liked any movies in 2006...there really weren't many

(honorable mentions - apocalytpo (surprised me too), blood diamond (meh), casino royale (eva green ruined it), an inconvenient truth)
but i have to reserve judgment on 2006 because i'll have to wait for the major release of these movies or for some to come out on DVD before i can see them...south carolina blows

V for Vendetta - i really don't get why this one was so popular...maybe because it was very obviously attempting to be subversive that it somehow resonated with the lowest common denominator? honestly, that movie was just a mess
Jet Li's Fearless - lame
Snakes on a Plane - yeah, i went there. not even the camp factor could make this movie enjoyable
Science of Sleep - style, no substance
The Illusionist - jessica biel, ew. and i found the antiquated scene transitions really distracting.
and these are the movies that i'm embarrassed to admit that i've seen or just otherwise wish i could completely erase from my memory
Tristan & Isolde - pretty but retarded, my only excuse is that i'm a girl
Silent Hill - absolutely 100% painful...and i like sean bean
Mission: Impossible III - i don't know why i've seen this
Nacho Libre - inexcusably stupid

Borat - ugh, that naked wrestling scene in the hotel erased all of the humor...for me at least
