Let's be honest here: Yes, I am still awake at the ungodly hour doing homework. I don't know how much longer I can go on doing this. I haven't even talked to anyone on-line. I just fell asleep once I got home and woke up around 2-ish.
We had opening night of "Skin of Our Teeth" and I have gotten such mixed comments on it. Somewhere jumbled in all of them I managed to pick out nothing but nice comments about myself, so that pleased me... means I was doing my part right. But yeah- Just an interesting show, in my opinion- take that as you will.
As for right now, aside from procrastinating by writing this blog, I am listening to the karaoke for "Into the Woods" for the first time. Sondheim is a freaking genius! I'm sorry, but it's true. Just listening to the music without lyrics sound beautiful! Like, don't sing along with any of them and try not to fill in any of the appropriate lyrics... (hard, I know) Just solely the instruments. It's a wonder. Also, Jimmy- I'm liking the speed of these songs on this CD. Now we just have to get Chris to play it like this and we'll be golden!
Oh! And random, but I have to say something about it. Josh now works at McDonald's (his first job) and is getting paid $6.25 an hour! What kind of crap is that? I worked at ColdStone and only got $5.15! Whatever... darn Puerto Rican. :D
I wish I were going to ITW rehearsal tonight instead of the fall show. I have so much more fun at ITW. At least I know that I won't be going to the next 2 Monday night chorus rehearsals to instead be going to ITW! Haha! Yes! I can't wait!
But yeah- I should probably continue on my homework. 1200-1600 words on <<"A historian must combine the rigor of the scientist with the imagination of the artist." To what extent, then, can the historian be confident about his or her conclusions?>> Damn ToK...
