First off, don't joke about the blokes. I know Derek's keeping a better eye on than that.
I know you're upset and I'm sorry things had to go the way they did. We wanted to tell you but you would have told mum and you know she never would have let us get away with this. It was an opportunity we couldn't turn down! We own a business now. How cool is that? I know you can't see it now but really it is brilliant. You'll have to come see it over hols! Although we'll have to sneak you in of course and keep a VERY CLOSE EYE on where you go. Blokes in bars aren't the most reputable fellows and I can now say this from full experience.
Business is going really well so far. Well, minus a few hitches. We're working out the details still and the ordering and all of that is a little more complicated than we expected. Taylor's in charge of that, by the way. I figured since he was the one with experience, I shouldn't touch anything not yet broken. A bit touchy sometimes but I think he's getting it sorted. Really, you'll like it when you come by.
Of course we can swap brooms! If that's all it takes to win you over, should have said so earlier ;) Don't have much use for mine lately anyway and you're right, businessmen can afford to buy things like new brooms. Just wait until you get your Christmas pressies form us this year.
Seriously though, I'm sorry we did that to you. It wasn't the way we wanted things to work out it just...did. None of this was exactly planned, you know. Well, it was but only after the bar landed in Taylor's lap. Never thought the old guy would kick it and leave the place to us. Anyway we didn't see a whole lot of good coming from us sticking around another year. Not exactly cut out for decent jobs, Taylor and I. I hope you can understand. I'm sorry. Really.
Anyway, I have to get back to it. Taylor's all alone at the bar and the customers are restless. Take care of yourself, sis. And hey, if Derek's still wandering around looking sour, hit him one for me eh? And make sure he doesn't toss the owl I'm sending either.
Love *in a different hand* All OUR love, Taylor *back to Darin's hand* and Darin
*Taylor's* PS- Of course you can have whatever I left behind. Finders keepers. I think I pretty well cleared the stores though. Oh, you might want to avoid that dungbom. The one in the corner? It's gone particularly rank and unless you want it stinking you up before it gets placed where it's supposed to go off, I'd leave it be. Ta! And good hunting.
