Hannah was feeling fantastic and giddy. This could have something to do with the alcoholic beverage that her and Anora had been consuming. But hey, they were entitled to a celebratory night.
In fact, she felt so celebratory that when she spotted Anya, she actually smiled and waved. "Hey there, Anya! How are you this fine evening?" Hannah sort of stumbled for a moment and bumped into Anora.
She was just pulling her amazing sombrero out of her bag and placing it on her head when an amusing thought popped into her head. "Heyyyyy, did you want some of this stuff?" Hannah handed a bottle to Anya, figuring that she was old enough to partake. "Anora and I are celebrating being in sixth year. And being awesome. And everything in general! Come on and join the party!!!!"
Anora had an icebox where her heart used to be, yo.
Ahem, Anora was already drunk. But yeah, that's because her and Hannah decided to celebrate for no apparent reason. HANNAH AND HER JUST BEING IN ONE PLACE WAS ENOUGH REASON FOR A PARTY, in her ohpins.
She'd had her top hat on for the past ten minutes, as she felt very classy with it. Sort of like she could tap dance Fred Astaire style, or do Chicago Bob Fosse style for hours on end. So she'd started to do a version of 'Steamed Heat' whilst waiting for Hannah to finish her swig before taking the bottle back into her own hands, drinking heavily, and passing it back to Hannah, before Hannah bumped into her. Blast, so much for Steamed Heat. Anora didn't think that there was such thing as Bumped Heat, but maybe she could make it up? Her train of thought was interrupted when she spotted Anya. "Aaayy Anya!" she said happily. After Hannah suggested she drink some of the awesome concoction she started nodding enthusiastically "YES DRINK IT! IT'S DELICIOUS,"
Anya jumped back a little, completely unprepared for what met her. What in the bloody name of Merlin were these two girls on?!? Her brown eyes were round as she just took in how they were stumbling about and practically yelling.
And was that Hannah being nice to her?
Well. That actually made her feel really good. See? They could be friends after all. Why not just put their differences and the past behind them, eh? So what if Hannah was a little tipsy...
There was only a small hesitation before Anya responded, "I would love some, thanks!" And taking the bottle, she took a small sip, her face screwing up in reaction. It was strong, whatever it was -- something that she hadn't had before but... well, even if it wasn't the best tasting drink she'd ever had, it was still alcohol, and hadn't she just been looking for trouble?
So with that thought she lifted the bottle back up to her lips and chugged a good amount, "Mmm. Its not bad! Takes some getting used to but I like it!!!"
Hannah burst out laughing at Anora. Her friend was so hilarious sometimes! She turned her attention back to Anya, who was enthusiastically drinking down the liquid. Hm, maybe she wasn't so bad after all.
"So Anya, how's fourth year going so far? You'll get to come to a lot more parties now, you know. And dating and all that. It will be chock full of drama! Fifth year will be the epitome of drama, though. At least, it was for me. Right, Nora?" Hannah turned to tip her hat to Anora after taking the bottle from Anya and chugging a bit down.
"Mmmmm, good times. HEY, we should play a drinking game in a bit, you guys. It will be a nice way to get to know each other."
Had Hannah been sober, she would have had the logic to NOT suggest this to ANYA of all people. But at the moment she really couldn't care less. "WOOHOO!"
