so I hung out with this girl from work. it's really funny I kept trying to make plans to spend time with her and they kept falling through, which made me believe she thought I was a creep, but she seemed sincere about wanting to hang out and we finally did. It was so much fun

decontextualizing Shakespeare is amazing. I used to hate him until my AP english teacher in high school got me to do it. There is such a deep understanding of being human there. I also just really identified with Hamlet...food for some good papers I wrote.
Lately I have been reading Siddhartha, by Herman Hesse. It's rather slow reading and although I'm interested in the story, his writing style just hasn't grabbed me yet. I will soon be reading The Bridge of San Luis Rey, by Thorton Wilder. It has a thoughtful treatment of why God would allow suffering. Although I've heard the same answer about a hundered times, he won a pulitzer so I hope Mr. Wilder has a fresh take.
I'm working at El Chico as a waiter and trying to leave on my mission, but I have to find my immunization records and they are in three states.
