2nd best place to work besides record theatre which my parents despise, even though i could totally blend in with the 20-sum year olds who work there.
had a conversation with the guys there today.
one was impressed with my knowledge of brazilian girls, when the one girl who worked there didnt know what i was talking about.
i retorted right back with some chemical bros. and massive attack.
but his reaction was nothing compared to the guy who saw me supporting local music- death from aobve 1979.
he saw them in concert, only like 6 people in the audience. loved them. was amazed that two guys could make that much noise. perhaps i should have informed him of lightning bolt. but we talked some more about the new video for romantic rights which got some air on fuse, as well as their tour (the canadian wet tour in japan with metric!!!)
extrmely mind-blowing.
if you have no knowledge to which i am speaking, then go there now. as soon as you see the 80 interpol posters plastered on the side of a shelf, the le tigre vinyl in the corner, the entire section devoted to electronica, and the english beat blaring over the speakers, you know your in heaven.
