I have a history for getting crushes on unattainable people, and my current crushes are either fictional characters or don't even know I exist, so there's that.

Cranky, because it's 4 am and I can't get back to sleep.

A dolphin! or any animal that allows me to swim for long stretches at a time because I want to be in the water for a while.

Does this count? When I was 12, we moved to my aunt's place while waiting for our new house. I had to get up really early for school, and to get there I had to take a bus into town and then a train back to my old suburbs. One morning, I got down from the bus, and jaywalked this wide road - there were about 4 lanes - and the bag of papers I was holding in my hand split and my papers fell on the road, at the same time the light turned green so this whole fleet of cars were coming my way and I was frozen. Someone grabbed my hand and pulled me to the other side of the road just as the first cars whizzed by.

Okay, so, my last name is actually my dad's name, and it has a beautiful meaning, and I wouldn't change it for anything. Unfortunately, and I really mean this, it makes me nervous to visit the Western countries because it immediately flags my religion as a Muslim and as everyone and his mother knows, the Islamic world is regarded with suspicion at the moment, and I've read stories about violent and blatant racism over there.
