Spirits, or is it just me?

Recently, I found a new way to walk from the library to my home, cutting through the blocks of apartments and emerging into a path where joggers and cyclists like to use. Now, it's not like I walk really late at night. I usually walked back home around 8-ish, 9, and bear in mind that the sun sets around 7 here, so really, it's not as if it's in the ( Read more... )

Having been in many haunted spots, smells, hair rising on the arms, changes in temperature, all of that CAN mean something. IS it? I don't really know, but how cool if it was!

Hahahahahha. I suppose on hindsight it's cool, but at that time it's definitely not!

When I saw the person in the window at the Masonic Temple, my brain totally blanked out what I was seeing. I was in the middle of the story, and I THINK maybe I even paused in the middle of talking for a second, before continuing with the story and moving on. It wasn't until we were in the cemetery and everyone on the bus came over to ask me what that WAS at the Masonic temple, that it really hit me what had happened. THEN I got scared!

Delayed reaction FTW! Was this the same place where the lady saw another figure???

Masonic temples seem to always be haunted don't they? This wasn't the first time i heard a Masonic temple was haunted? What did they DO in there?

My FIRST tour was when they got the recording of the lady screaming in the bathroom of the old Denver Rio Grande train station. That's where our ghost tour starts.

The SECOND tour was when I saw something at the Masonic Temple. On the ground floor away from the main stairs, I saw the figure of someone looking out the glass door/window there. Except there were no details, just an outline of a person, with white on the inside. It looked flat almost like a cardboard cut out, except, well, dark on the outside, and getting lighter toward the middle. I have NO IDEA what it was!

I don't know a LOT about the Masons, but my Dad and grandfather were both Masons, and my grandmother was in Eastern Star. She kept bugging my Mom to get my sister and I into Job's daughters, but we never did. It's a very old order that combines social club with ceremony and ritual. The Masonic temple in Salt Lake is haunted by the ghost of a former member who had his ashes sent there by his wife. MAYBE that was him, I don't know!

I'm pretty certain it was him!

I should document some haunted places here, so anyone who wanted to visit them whe they come over will know where to go!

If no one has done it, you could publish a book! Find people who work or live at those locations, and conduct interviews! Do your research, and you've got a ghost tour! You could conduct the tours, or hire storytellers or actors to do it! I love this plan!
