UPDATE spot music
so that girl is back in the spot playing the piano and singing. i believe i called her a cross between ani difranco and alicia keys. well i stand by that but add a bit of that gutteral growl that seems to be all the rage with women singers these days. oh and lots of yodeling for no reason. jesus christ this is worse than local band emo. also, it seems the volume with which she plays the piano directly is correllated to whether she's singing or not. this may be desired because of lyrics, but i can't tell. it's either over poweringly loud, or normal volume. the spot is not acoustically built for anything other than conversation. go out and play shitty music in the multipurpose room you self-absorbed whore.
