I am sorry to tell you this news in this format, but we want to get the information out for those who want to know and who would be concerned.
Amirah Ramsey was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was undergoing a biopsy at Texas Children's Hospital about 10 days ago. During the procedure she suffered a massive stroke. She is currently in a coma in pediatric intensive care. Her family has asked that if her friends would come to visit her particularly if she might recognize your voice. Although the numbers of visitors is limited to 2 at a time and the amount of time is also limited, your visit would be welcomed. There are some strict procedures that have to be followed. I would suggest that you do not go by yourself and be prepared to possibly wait for a brief period. Mr. Clark and I are both willing to accompany you if you would feel more comfortable.
