Yesterday I finally watched Audition, as well as Tetsuo.
I have been living without..contact with mainstream media for the longest, therefore barely found out how much Audition has spread around.
Apparently, MCR made a video based off it. It does an ok job of fitting the movie into a music video. But, like spark notes, it leaves a lot out.
Click to viewI do recommend watching the full movie, so you get a clear idea about the characters and plot. It's a bit slow in the beginning, but builds up.
I'm used to watching gore in asian horror, so usually blood scenes don't bother me too much, but with Audition, I sometimes had to turn my head.
Oh, there's apparently supposed to be another (third) Tetsuo being released this year. I'm kind of excited to see how it turns out.
