(no subject)
I quit the bagel job today. I worked a shift Saturday... it was okay, but the owner is a total jerk. He kept talking to me like I was a 10 year old! So I went in this morning to give it a second chance.. thinking that maybe he was just going to be like that on the first day.. but he went right back to talking like that. Today I was supposed to be on register... it's this old school machine like at Cafe St.George. But of course he had to explain every little button to me... the method is totally wierd. There actually isn't a method at all, just kidding. It was basically do this no wait do that no but do this now do that and DO EVERYTHING AT ONCE but I dont really think you're capable of anything so I have to narrate it all. 3 times.
So I saiiiiddd:
"I don't think this job is for me"
Why? What don't you like?
"I don't know exactly... it just isn't right"
I thought you were going to be more mature than this; why did you take this job knowing that you were going to blow it off?
"Uhh I didn't plan on quitting the next day...I showed up today to give it another shot...I'll stay if you need me to, but I won't be coming back"
That's fine. You can go.
"K. Biiiyyeee!!"
lol so I left and applied for a job at pac sun and I'm pretty sure I'll get that. Even if it's just seasonal.... there's a starbucks opening right across from it in the mall so FREE COFFEE EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME FOR ME. oh yes, pumpkin chai.. you are mine! forevaaaaa!! :) I miss retail sometimes. So we'll see. Umm what else. Going back to st.augustine for thanksgiving and a few extra days before that with Alex AND i get to see emily <3
