a girl I work with had a seizure yesterday. at work. on the floor. it was probably the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life. She was just standing there, then her right shoulder scrunched up and she fell flat on the floor and started convulsing. I can't get it out of my mind... especially the moment where I realized what was actually happening. Me and this other woman kneeled down and turned her on her side so she wouldnt choke on any vomit and we were just trying to say her name and tell here we were all right there with her.... she finally stopped convulsing and wanted to get up, so she started fighting us all but her legs wouldn't work. her face was all distorted and you could see that she couldnt move her mouth at all. her fists were closed really tightly, called "the eagle claw" as the paramedics told me when alex had his anxiety attack. my boss picked her up and took her outside and he started asking her questions, like "do you know where we are?" and stuff like that. she knew that we were at work, but she had no idea what had happened. He kept asking her if she was alright and she said "What? Why do you keep asking me that?". the paramedics came and they took her to the ER and kept her overnight.. but all of her tests came back normal. She has a history of panic attacks, we were talking about it a few days ago... but this was a full blown seizure. eyes rolling back and all. It's just crazy to me that it just... happened. she was fine all morning. then the next second she was pretty much unconscious.
alex thinks he has lyme disease and I AM STRESSED OUT. worked 14hrs yesterday. in a row. no sitting. sdfoiysailkfnawk4lehsad09f7xzc09vzsildfknasdlfkysaldf
