re: Kerry endorses Obama

*edit #3*

So many things flew through my head when I read this...boys will be boys, no girls allowed...glass ceiling anyone? Obama is too green to actually make the changes he proposes (however pretty they sound even though the "changes" he proposes are the same as the other democrats basically). The only change would be having a multiracial president. He holds degrees from Columbia and Harvard (like most candidates), he is christian (like most candidates), his parents were both educated (not sure about this one), and he is in a "traditional" hetero marriage (like most candidates). SHOW ME THE CHANGE that is so vastly different?

I dont see change or think about change when I hear him or read about him and how "great" he is. I feel like an odd feminist out somehow...like, it's cool to support Obama. and like I missed something critical about Hillary that makes her so repulsive. When I see him I see a smooth talking wannabe, for real. When I hear him speak I think to myself-how many MLK speeches has he studied for inflection and tone of voice...how many hours has he spent praciticing his preacher like mannerisms. How come no one seems to notice that he stole "yes we can" from Huerta & Chavez (Si, se puede)?

He just makes me feel icky. and while I know Clinton isn't perfect by any means I just feel right about supporting her since I have liked her for years and years and actually carried a Hillary for President sign around D.C. the first time the punk ass chump who runs our country was inaugurated on a wet, cold January day. (the other side of the sign was a picture of ashcrofts' face on a pigs body, so funny).

however, if it comes to Obama and any republican I would obviously vote for him and probably wouldnt lost sleep over it.

I just have my girls back until then.
