iTunes visualizer shows apple ad at random times

Jun 19, 2008 08:21

Why does a lone apple logo appear splotched dead-center on top of the visualizations at seemingly random times during music play?

I've had this problem both when listening to Philosomatika on iTunes, and even when playing a "legally downloaded from the artist" MP3 file (specifically, "The Castle of his Oxynis", by ytcracker, if anyone cares.)

Big solid white apple with a bite missing, right on top of all the colors. No idea what turns it on or off or what preference I ought to set to prevent this from happening.

I know they are very impressed with their new, all-white, "The Mac ithn't gay, we even lost the rainbow guyth!", but it simply doesn't match the otherwise rainbow-brite colorful iTunes visualizer graphics.

How do I get rid of this popup?
