Lunch Box 244: Odd picnic
Busy day, came back from a dinner/meeting too late for real cooking. Time for a turkey-bacon BLT on French bread, some baby pickles, a package of shallot crackers, and pumpkin melon pan. The last time I baked French bread I made a little tiny loaf just so I could have bento-sized sandwiches. The crackers were an impulse buy at the Asian market. They came in a big bag, and at first I thought I was going to be inundated with crackers, but when I opened it I saw the handy little packages inside. Nice! They're basically wheat crackers flavored with onionlike shallots. They're tasty, but not so much that I want more when the package is empty, as I do with those tiny packages of potato chips.
