I've never understood people who don't want to know how a magic trick was done.
People who think it somehow cheapens or lessens the work. I read so so SO many books on stage magic as a kid- I was obsessed. I loved it. I love special effects work now. I love animation. Recreation, and trickery.
Like, we already know it's not real- so what's with the complaints that there's an illusion? As long as it's done with skill who cares if you looked at just the right time to notice the seams?
It's a weird mindset I can't connect with at all.
I DONT KNOW IM DRUNK AND I WATCHED GRAVITY AND IM UPSET
