I offered to do an author's commantary on a fic for Lil, which very quickly turned into a question and answer time. Somehow.
Anyway, for Lil and all those who are interested, here are the results. By all means ask more, i quite enjoyed this. It made me feel very... professional.

Some are similar to mine!
I have a question: Do RL people in your life know that you write fanfic? Have they ever read any? What was their response?
Okay, so technically that's three questions, but If I talk really fast they might sound like one?

And yes, i'll answer all three :P

I am the same about music; in fact, I'm convinced the last two Snow Patrol albums are about the Doctor/Donna love! I even have a very lame Doctor/Donna soundtrack on my iPod.
Their whole relationship, on every level, is so complex and so beautiful that I couldn’t not be attracted to them.
Sing it sister!
Impossible love stories; check! Have you seen The Way We Were yet? Oh my God you'll cry! You will love it to bits.
I adore Gaiman (my secret authorial boyfriend) and Maguire! If I saw your novella on a shelf in Borders, I'd totally buy it. It sounds right up my street.
I'm not exactly sure yet what I want but I think it would run pretty close to yours. I'd love to see Donna pat Eleven on the arse and say "off ya go sunshine, don't forget to write,"
I have a question about the Doctor in Not a Bang:
He wonders idly whether he'd have had the courage to ask her to come with him, if he'd known earlier what kind of creature lay curled inside the woman who'd ( ... )

No, i haven't, but i will rent it when i next have time. I'm sure i will also, especially if it comes with your rec.
I'm married to Neil, didn't you know? ;) Oh, isn't he just delicious? Did you see him at Kinokuniya last time he was there? I couldn't make it and i'm so upset. I keep telling myself "next time... next time". I think of all his stories, my favourite to date would be Snow Glass Apples. And hurrah! When i publish it, i'll invite you to the book launch. You can has first edition.
Haha, yes! I can see that too. "Ooh, you're lovely, but a bit young for me, yeah? And no, still not ginger."
What kind of creature does he think she is and does it frighten or excite him?As far as he'd tell me when i was writing, he's seeing her for the first time as a woman, not a mate or a mother or even a partner (in crime, of course). He's seen Donna angry, he's seen her scared and unsure, and he's seen the fierce loyalty she has for the people she loves ( ... )

You will sob and sigh and gasp "But why?" at the screen, or your money back.
Doesn't stop him from being my secret boyfriend! It wouldn't have to be a secret if you weren't married to him. He is gorgeousness on a stick. Um, no. I don't know what that is, but I seriously considered going to see him do a reading at Sydney Town Hall, just hop on a train straight after work but when I rang to find out about the event the idiot who answered the phone couldn't answer any of my questions so I gave it a miss. Next time indeed! Maybe we can meet up; wife and secret girlfriend. I don't remember 'Snow Glass Apples'; is it one of his short stories? YAY! I can has first edition!
"Still look like you need a feed, but I'm sure someone'll take pity on ya and let you tag along with them,"
::shiver:: I totally get that!
Today I completely chucked work and thought about both these pieces and wrote pages and pages of shit; contradicting myself all over the shop. Thanks so very much for all the brain food.

Hurrah! And yes, about Neil - let's do that, definitely. It will be fantastic. Snow Glass Apples was a short, yes. It's in Smoke and Mirrors, the one about Snow White, funnily enough. She's a vampire.
Now ... wait. When you say you wrote, do you mean you wrote fic? Or a response to my fic? Or just journal entries? *is also nosy*
