I saw the new James Bond movie last night. We also went to a place called Harvest Table. The food was very good, an dI highly recommend the movie. So the first wrestling tournament was Tuesday and Wednesday. I worked for five hours on Tuesday night and then for another nine and half hours on Wednesday. That's fourteen and a half hours out of seventy-five total. Wow. It doesn't seem like much. Haha. But I got to hang out with my friend Nick for all of thirty minutes or so. And he drove me home. Mhmm. We have fun. So yeah, Josh came to the movie last night with us. Oh yeah, and I drove the whole time! To the diner, to Josh's house, to the movies, to Josh's house again, and then home! And we didn't crash, even though my mom was break-dancing in the seat next to me just to embarass me in front of Josh. Haha. My mom is amazing. She helped me through a lot last night. She's Supermom. A poem and picture.

I tried to remember a time
when I did not hate my body
when I still appreciated
all that it was capable of
running cursive words
across vacant lots
I would chase butterflies
and paint the morning
with curious fingers
for so long I have counted
the calories, miles, lies
I told myself
there was porcelain catharsis
and tears that blurred my vision
blurred the reflection I saw
in that broken mirror
I shall not deny my curves any longer
the arches of femininity
that class artwork celebrates
I see not the imperfections, but the
strength and beauty it contains
I have swept the shards
and pieced myself back together.
I am whole again.
