The light of my life!
One component that I hold extremely valuable in my life, is my son. His name is Anthony, I am so proud of him. I just love being his mom. Its so hard sometimes I had to grow up sooo fast. Never being able to finish school the conventional way, while other teenagers were worried about what they were going to wear to school, or where they were going on Friday nights, I had to worry about waking up with a teething baby, or how am I going to afford diapers again. But I made it past that time in my life, and that little bundle of joy I had in Fall of 98 is about to turn 8 next month!!! Where does the time go? How did I get so old so fast, and more importantly who said that when I blinked my baby would grow up?
He is such an amazing kid! Everyday he teaches me something new, and I have learned so much from him. I know i say it so much but i just love being his mommy. ::sigh:: I wish I could keep him small forever, wish I will always be there to kiss his skinned knees, wipe aways his tears and protect him from the boogy man. My biggest fear is that he will grow up before I really get a chance to impact his life.
The world we live in is so crazy so many stupid ignorant adults running here and running there, never having the time to look around them and see just how precious the little things in life are.
Why is it kids are the first to notice a rainbow, or a beautiful butterfly, the song of a bird, or the way trees look when they blow in the wind? Because us adults are to into of selfs or how much money we have in our bank accounts to even care =(
Its funny the way life works, we end up conceiveing a child, having a baby, they are completely depend on you in every way possible. You teach them to talk, walk, clean them selfs, and be dependent, then you yern for them to be small again. No one told me that in the magical world of parenting that its not only your kids that are learning from you, its you that is learning so much from them, I thank god, and my son EVERY day, for giving me this great oppertunity to learn, to feel, and to love, completely, 100% with no strings attached!
