Part five. Didn't realise we'd got that far (well, far for me.) Or I can't count, but discovering that on the eve of your final maths exam is not a pleasant thought so I shan't think of it *g* (my brain had already imploded once this week. Archie&Thorongil - the thought terrifies me :P)

Well I think it's five. Frightening, innit?

Archie&Thorongil - the thought terrifies me
So I'm sorting the washing this morning and there's Archie in my brain, lying in a bed in Dol Amrioth and wondering whether it's Spain.....

I love your brain. I am absolutely grinning like an idiot over here. The Bay of Belfalas, a random bay in Spain, there's no difference *g*

I had quite an idiot grin when I was doing the washing!

Well, if that boat that Archie got cut loose in was to drift through a certain notorious hole in the space time continuum, or did a reverse of the elven boats sailing over the edge of the world (or something) he might end up in Middle Earth, might he not? And he'd see the white buildings and the clear blue sky and assume it was Spain?

I love your brain. *grin* You come up with some of the coolest crossover ideas.

I think the original idea was calavarna's. The Archie in my head just wanted to run with it.
But thanks for the kind thought.

*grin* It's still a fabulous idea and I hope you'll tell calavarna I said that. You two are both excellent writers. When you work together, I'm just blown away!

Thanks - I hope that she'll be reading this once her exam has finished tomorrow (which is now today for her *g*).

Aw *blushes*. I think we fire ideas off each other, which takes the story off into areas that, on our own, we wouldn't tackle - if that makes sense.

PS - Who's the icon?

I just finished an exam myself. Wasn't too bad, but glad it's over. *wipes forehead* Whew!

*nods* It does. The same happens with lacecravat and I.

P.S. Angel from RENT.

I'm out of the exam and reading :P (and I tell ya, those other ratios aren't nearly as interesting *g*)

I have an excuse for the Hornblower/LotR thing. *nods* Really. I'll tell you when I think of it...*grin*

And,yes, like mylodon said, ideas are bounced back and forth across the world on a regular basis. Although I wouldn't have tackled anything if not for her. So, yeah, thanks mylodon!

My pleasure my dear.
You might like to know that I just had a book from the library which disappointed me so much - bland style, uninteresting story - you're much better at writing than that.

*giggle* I hear you!

Right, understood. *salutes*

It's amazing how having a partner-in-crime makes it more fun. *wink*

I had a thought (mid exam!) that Archie and Gandalf would get along well, as would Horatio and Saruman. I'm not sure what prompted that rather bizarre (and likely untrue) thought but I've got a really strange image of Archie trying to steal Gandalf's hat...

And my excuse for this is that my brain is fried from maths *g*

Archie would get on with the hobbits like a house on fire. Horatio would like Boromir as well.

Oh yes! Finally Archie has some friends who aren't taller than him. *g* Although, the height difference with Horatio probably places A's (or Lee's) mouth in line with H's neck. Just sayin' *g*

Horatio might get along with Haldir too - bet Hoory would enjoy trying to blindfold his (supposed) enemy :P
