I'm Not Over
Guh, I am so tired these days. I took my crappy job back up at Wendy's due to my own laziness. I was in school, didn't want to go through the stupid interviewing process, so I just went and got my job back there. It sucks, hardcore, but I think I'll stay there until the end of the summer. I'll try to get another part-time job at Ekos Research, a calling center, so I can keep that during the school year. Sure, it's a call center, but at least it'll be better than fast food, and its employees make up their own schedules, to a point. It'll be nice to have that kind of flexibility, or even predictability, in the schedule. I'm really looking forward to school. I really, really love it, so much so that if I don't end up getting into my co-op program next summer, I think I might do a lot of summer school.
I'm also looking forward to August, since I'm most likely going to Hawaii with Andrew now =D That should be fun.
In terms of all of my usual productice outlets - ZZTing, Scriptwriting, Writing in General, or Programming, or Photography, I haven't done much of anything in forever. I'll have bursts of each, but then I don't follow through. Gah. Oh well. On the flipside, I've got Yoshi's Cookie for the Wii now, which makes me far more happy than it should.
I've been seeing a lot of movies lately, which has been a lot of fun. The Incredible Hulk was pretty good, The Happening had its moments, Kung Fu Panda was fucking awesome in every way pretty much. The Strangers was alright, too, but kind of dull, Sex and the City was amazing beyond anything, Indiana Jones was a lot better than I thought it'd be, and Iron Man, I think, might be tied with Spider-Man for my second-favourite superhero movie (Batman Begins is firmly in #1, but not for long, I suspect, with The Dark Knight looking so fucking fantastic.) Next weekend I'm seeing Get Smart, and possibly You Don't Mess With the Zohan. Yeah... I need a life, and a bigger bank account.
