Where the hell was all my alien moonshine!? I mean really! I think alcohol was probably the defining factor between season one and the Atlantis Orgy that we all imagined season one would be.

Really, I'm having a hard time getting beyond that. I mean, Liz being all Everyone Stay Calm and Shep being all Well This Is Different and McKay being all Huh, That Should Not Have Happened and he's all "I AM IN ANOTHER GALAXY, WTF." Past that, though, I think he'd really adore Teyla, like, a lot. Because she's awesome, and exotic, and kick-ass, and would put him in his place, but in a comforting way.

It's true, though, Garibaldi would sort of roll with the punches, after a bit of flailiness.

And then Talia, Susan and Marcus would be Team Awesome and break the universe to get him back. Possibly. Susan would spend the time saying she's not sure it's worth it, but that Franklin misses him, and Marcus would go for Susan and Talia would be conflicted and and...

Kate would be all "Let me make sure I have some sessions open for you people who stranded yourselves here" (and yes, Marcus, because that's how I roll)

LOL. Do they all get stuck there?? Marcus is like "SWEET! SHOTGUN." and totally nominates himself to Sheppard's team, and he and Ronon have this odd friendship no one expects, because Marcus is all chatty and Ronon is not, but they both disappear in the night sometimes to cap some Wraith.

I kind of love that Talia is nominated to be on Team Awesome, because she doesn't really have the strike team background. She comes aboard and McKay LOVES. HER. and wants to study her brain, and she is like "SIGH."

Also, if they all went, Sheridan could be all "GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR GALAXY!" and the Wraith are "....." and he's like "... Okay, I guess we'll be going home now." :)

THE NOX!!!

I've decided that the Nox make a surprise re-appearance and whisk Janet's body away and like a month later, Janet returns all "Hi guys, WEIRDEST MONTH EVER, somebody tell me that one of you fed Cassie something other than McDonald's." Except that whenever I go this scenario in, er, unfinished fanfic, Janet always comes back a little changed from the experience, and it takes her an awfully long time to integrate it all. But. NOX. LAIA. (Lya?) :-D

For Lizzie, I was thinking along the same lines as havocthecat and as a bit of a sequel to my post-Real World fic where Sheppard got a bit of a contact high from her nanite experience and has a few of them kicking around dormantly in his brain somewhere, and that leads him to her.

Although I'm kind of warming up to the idea that I came up with in a flashfic where Ford up and saves her and is like "SUCK IT, SHEPPARD," except not in a gay way, in a WTF you had ALL THIS TIME to RESCUE HER, JACKASS. But that's when I'm feeling a little bitter.

What's your favorite nonexistent Daniel/Janet moment. You know, those pairing moments that only exist in your head? The ones you wish were on the show?

Oooh! The team, hanging out at Janet's house on a holiday weekend (I imagine she makes a point to invite them over for occasions, but I suspect she also makes a point to get away from them on some other weekends). Teal'c is having Very Serious Discussions with Cassie, and Sam is correcting Jack's grilling prowess, and Daniel hangs back with Janet watching and everything feels right, because it is not interrupted by aliens attacking. (Well, maybe it is.) But yes, Daniel and Janet find out these odd things about each other in these moments of random conversation and they both wonder why it feels so intimate when, really, they're not saying deep things, it's just more things than they've ever shared with each other before, and after the party's over there's a general air of squeee.

Well, The Hug is the only clip of the show I have on my computer (thanks to mspooh, who found it, clipped it, and freeze-framed it with me forward and backwards this one time that we were totally not being scary obsessive), so I'm going to have to go with that, even though it's obvious. :)

Mostly, I'm pretty sure that Sheppard was like "whaaaa?" and Elizabeth was hugging him totally instinctively, because, OF COURSE! Near death!! Their expedition was about to be all destroyed! So I don't actually think there was a moment of OMGILOVEU happening. I love how they're both kind of stunned and are like "errr" afterwards. :) And the effect of the camera circling around them is so perfect, because the whole world is condensing to just the two of them for that minute, because in that moment, neither of them were aware of anything else. I LOVE IT ( ... )
