Has anyone ever noticed that the whole plot between Janeway and Seven of Nine is very The Face On The Milk CartonWe just watched "The Gift" -- faboo, by the way, though I WAIL A LOT AT THE END IN DESPAIR -- and really! Seven of Nine is kidnapped by the Borg as a wee girl. She is raised by the Borg. She thinks she is Borg. She is HAPPY WITH THE ( Read more... )

I started reading this poll going, "There should really be an option for 'Janeway was already completely batshit by this point, so we really can't figure anything out any more.'"

Seriously, I started out loving Voyager, but around the time Janeway got nuts, I-- Okay, I kept watching, but I trailed off EVENTUALLY, all right? Besides, the Delta Blues summaries kept me entertained and updated anyway.

See, there's always an option for Janeway going completely batshit in my polls! Okay, not really, but I'm going to start adding that.

I think there will need to be a poll for when Janeway actually went completely off her horse, because at the point of Seven!rescuing, I think it was only the start of her long descent into madness. However, it was probably the cause of all FURTHER madness, so there you have it.

Dude, where's the rest of the choices on the poll? I could use a 5) Who?!?? and a 6) Squeee! Poll! thingee. Because, I never watched this show, tho I am aware of who the characters are. But reading this *does* make me want to watch Voyager... sounds like I missed something I might have enjoyed.

DeNIED! It might have swayed the target voter contingent.

You would totally have loved Voyager, actually.

I am ridiculously happy that so far Door # 4 has the most votes.

Crazy Cap'n Katie for the win! Or the...something. Hiding under a desk, perhaps.

Yay, Crazy Cap'n Katie!! I actually think this was only the beginning of her descent into madness, and so she's not actually clinical at this point, but it's like... she went so crazy later that retroactively we can question all her decisions with an eye to the nuthouse. :)

I had pretty much written her off as Careening Merrily Into Batshit (And Being Strenuously Enabled By Chakotay) by fourth season. No retroactive about it. *wry g*
