Adventure!
Today is recovery day.
Yesterday started at seven in the morning. Was out on the road by 8:30, driving up to BWI to fetch a David. Note the weather - cold, rainy, gross. Note the fact that this is Labor Day weekend, and everyone and their mother is leaving to go on vacation. Highway driving = not so fun. Got a David by 10:30, got a Blaire around 12, got IHOP (!!!) and then ran errands like a motherfucker. They have their apartment now, with no furniture, a couple of blankets and pillows donated by yours truly, and enough beer to get them through any sort of hurricane. There might be some amusing pictures eventually.
It was exahausting, and yet so totally worth it.
Also, I got the job at express! While it's still not anything particularly awesome, I'll get discounts on clothes and work with yet even MORE homosexual men. But most importantly, IT'S NOT A RESTAURANT.
However, this not-exactly commision requirement about selling jeans/credit cards might get to be a bit like bullshit. But again, it's better than having to wear a stupid red vest and say things like, "My pleasure. Enjoy your meal." *grumble grumble grumble*
No, instead I get to see if my mother was right, and that I should be in sales.

This makes the seventh job I've had. (Paper route, mom's restaurant, q-16, skidoo's, cosi, artie's) And maybe it'll be the first one I get fired from? I hope not though. It's not like a goal or anything. Just an observation.
Anyway, I'm tired. But definitely looking forward to this whole creating an apartment thing.
