Once upon a time there was a cute little pink bunny by the name of Yoochun living near the river of The Wood Next to One Hundred Acres Wood. He was one funny bunny, always joked around with his friends in the wood. He was also a talented bunny, he enjoyed writing poetries and songs that were well loved by the other wood’s residents. One day though, he decided to leave the tree trunk he has been living in for half a year. Once he finished packing his bundle of bunny stuffs he went to the river to say goodbye to his friends the beavers.
“You’re leaving Yoochunnie? Whyyy? It’ll be no fun without you here!!”
“Well, Sunny….I likes living here too but it’s getting noisy lately…”
“Noisy? Whyyy?”
“I’m living too close to your dam! Days and nights you and your friends dam-making activities has made me lacking of sleep! And I need some quiet places to write my songs and poetries but all I heard was those grrrr grrrr grrr grrr CRAAAACCKKK sounds, it’s not funny anymoaarrr!”
“….is Chunnie angry at Sunny and her friends?”
“No, of course not! Sunny’s job is to make dam and Chunnie’s job is writing. No worries, I’ll visit you once in a while ok?”
“Chunnie pinky-tail promise?”
“Yup, pinky-tail promise!”
And so after the pink bunny and the little beaver made their pinky-tail promise, Yoochun left the dam with Sunny and her friends waved bye bye to him.
About two hours later Yoochun the pink bunny found himself at an open field. The place was a perfect one to rest and write songs, it was so peaceful and so green with grass and some trees and bushes around. He sat below a gnarled tree and picked a carrot from his bundle, nibbling at the orange veggie wile thinking of a good lyric.
“What is that?”
Yoochun turned and saw a cute little lamb wearing a blue jacket with a little birdie on its back.
“…you mean this? It’s a carrot”
The lamb titled its head. “Susu never heard of carrot before…” Yoochun thought this lamb must be younger than him because it never heard of carrot before. Then again this was a lamb, and Teukie songsaeng-nim said lambs did not eat carrots unlike him and his fellow bunny Sungmin. Yoochun blinked when he saw the birdie poked the lamb on the head.
“You silly lamb…you should introduce yourself first! Bunny hyung here is obviously older than you!”
“Sorry, Chullie hyung….annyeonghasaeyo, Bunny-sshi. My name is Susu..”
“Noooo you’re Junsu!”
“Erm…right…I meant Junsu. Nice to meet you?”
Yoochun giggled at the lamb now he knows by the name of Junsu…Susu….whatever, and the red bow-tied birdie named Chullie.
“Nice to meet you too, Junsu….I’m Yoochun. And you are…?”
“I’m Heechul, I’m Junsu’s baby sitter!”
Yoochun was speechless for a while but he decided not to say anything. Mommy said silence was golden. After a while Heechul the chirpy bird flew away for a meeting with his friend and Yoochun now teaching Junsu how to eat carrot….which did not last long because Junsu disliked carrots and prefer to nibble on the grass instead.
“Aigooooo!!! Hyuuuung!! Lemmegolemmegolemmegoooo! You’re heavvvyyy!!!”
It seemed like the plain that Yoochun deemed as peaceful was not so peaceful after all. Currently he saw a cute little deer being pressed to the ground by a little (but slightly bigger) tiger cub. What really caught Yoochun’s interest, strangely enough, but then again nothing was normal in the wood, was the deer’s very loud high-pitched voice and it was vibrated. The tiger cub just grinned, giggled and tickling the little deer, the latter now was squealing and laughing. Yoochun turned to poke Junsu but found him stared at the two animals with jaw hanged open, a few grass dropped to the ground.
“EWWW!!! Susu!! Close your mouth and chew properly or Chunnie’ll tell Chullie hyung!!”
Junsu quickly chewed his food obediently. After swallowing he ran toward the little deer. “SUSU!!! NO RUNNING AFTER EATING!! Your tummy will hurt!!!” and Junsu started to think the pink bunny was as annoying as his chirpy baby sitter. The little deer has successfully kicked the tiger away and ran toward Junsu….and of course they got collided on the way.
“EEWWWIIIEE!!! Minnie’s head is sharp!! Susu’s head has bumpy bump now!” Junsu pouted at the deer, who was also rubbing his head.
“Susu hyung’s head is also hard too! My head hurts!” Minnie the deer puffed his cheeks at the lamb, fixing his yellow bow-tie and then rubbing his tiny antler.
Meanwhile the tiger was bouncing to the bunny who watched the head-collided scene with fascination. The bunny yelped when the tiger suddenly bit him slightly on his ear and he jumped around the tree, trying to stay as far as he can from the tiger. The tiger though seemed on sugar high, either that or he was always acted like this, and started to bounced again, following Yoochun’s steps around the tree.
After about 15 minutes jumped and bounced around the same tree, the tree grew bored and lifted his old self to move away from the spot muttering “Kids these days are so noisy, have no respect to elders…” Meanwhile Junsu was asking Minnie about carrots and of course, being the smart deer like in old tales, Minnie knew what carrot was but refused to eat one because he was not grown enough to do so.
Their musings over the orange veggie was interrupted when suddenly the tiger cub bounced around them with the pink bunny jumping after it yelling “NUUU!!! The grandpa Tree angry!! Now I have nowhere to write my songs and it’s all your fault you stupid sugar high annoying bouncy tiger!!!” and he swung around another carrot to hit the tiger. The tiger cub was trying his best to duck the carrot swinging, but he seemed pretty entertained. “I’m sorry I’m sorry!! I didn’t know grandpa Tree will get angry!”
Behind the bushes, a grinning lion cub was enjoying the view. The hyper cutie tiger cub was running (bouncing) from a hysterical cute pink bunny with a carrot as his weapon, plus the innocent little lamb and little deer watching the carrot (or the chase?) with high fascination….he wondered why he did not bring his flat stone to carve this special moment with. Oh right, because he was lacking of any. He should ask some to Hannie hyung ASAP.
“CHUUUNNNNIIIIEEEEE!!!!!!”
A second after Yoochun’s sensitive ears heard the deafening shriek; he was tumbled to the ground by the lion cub that was formerly hiding in the bush. He nuzzled the bunny’s head and cooing at him. On their side, Minnie just snorted and picked out a grass to chew, Yunho the tiger was breathing heavily after a bouncing marathon while Junsu stared at the lion cub and thinking if tackling veggie eaters was the latest trend for meat lovers like the lion and the tiger.
“Jaaaeee hyuuuung!! You’re heavy, Chunnie can’t breathe!!”
“I’m not heavy!! How can you say Jae is heavy for a slender lion like me?”
“Slender my ass…” the tiger muttered then yelped. Jae the lion has found Yunho’s tail delicious enough to chew.
“Anyway, Chunnie-ah” Jae turned to cuddle the pink bunny again “I just visited your home but Hennie said you’re moving house?”
Yoochun nodded and proceeded to tell Jae the reason, interrupted by Yunho’s question of who was Hennie. Yoochun told him that Sunny and Henry were his best beaver friends, they were siblings, and that Henry was a talented beaver that always helped Yoochun writing songs while Sunny always gave him inspirations.
“Oh right! I haven’t met you two right?” the lion cub pinched the deer and lamb’s cheeks “I’m Jaejoong, Yoochun’s best buddy and Yunho’s classmate!”
“Umh…” Minnie and Susu looked at each other “Your name…Je..Chung?”
“Nuuu” He shaked his head “Jae-Joong”
“JheeJung?”
“Close enough, little deer!”
“Then…Jee…Jun?”
“Nuuuu!! Here, like this: Jeee…Jung! Got it?”
“Jeee….Jung!”
“Yessss!!! That’s right!! Goody goody, you two are smart!” Jae cuddled them too. Susu giggled happily while Minnie struggled, not used to a stranger cuddling him.
“Jaejae, let the poor deer go, he’s not that fond of cuddling” Yunho patted Jae’s ears and picked Minnie up. Jae grumbled and muttered softly about Yunho did not like his cute little deer being cuddled by any other. Susu and Yoochun giggled but Minnie pouted in yunho’s paws.
“But it’s true!” He puffed his cheeks again “I’m so sorry Jeee…Jung! hyung…but let Minnie get used to it first?”
Jae just stared at him. “What did you call me?” Now it was Minnie’s turn to stare. “I called you Jeee…Jung! hyung. Isn’t that how to address you? You’re older right? Minnie’s still a baby”
Jae wished to facepawed his own face when he realized Minnie has exactly copied how he pronounced his name while Yunho was laughing his head off. Minnie was a baby deer after all….and perhaps, if a smart baby deer like him could say it wrong then Susu was even worse.
“So….it’s not Jeee…Jung! hyung then?” Susu poked Jae’s shoulder. Yunho laughed again while Minnie and Susu just stared to each other again. Yoochun patted their heads and telling them to call him just “Jae” instead before the lion cub went insane.
“By the way hyung” Yoochun poked Jae’s arm “You usually with Hannie hyung, where is he now?”
“Ahh….he’s practicing now”
“Practice?” Susu tilted his head and fixing his jacket’s zipper. Jae went to help him when he saw it was stucked in the middle. “Yes, practice. He’s a gongfu panda that way. He could destroy a rock with his kick alone” Susu and Yoochun shuddered at the thought, they both did not like violence. Minnie though seemed interested with this gongfu panda Hannie.
“Don’t worry, Hannie hyung is really nice~ come on, I’ll introduce you little ones to him”
