Also, I'd just like to point out that the title for most impressive single shot that I've ever seen has passed on from the ending dance number of Kenneth Branaugh's Much Ado About Nothing to the unbelievable action sequence towards the end of Children of Men. I cannot get over how astounding that take was. There must have been at least 300 extras involved, not to mention the vehicles and special effects that all had to be perfectly choreographed....holy fuck. Seriously. It's worth watching the movie for that scene alone, that's how good it is.
