It sounds like him. It really does. But if this message is just telling me to relax when God really wants me to fight or be more aware of something else

I'll definitly be praying with you on this, but just so you know, God has been telling me much the same thing lately. He keeps telling me not to worry about all the responsabilities piling up and just to rest even though that usually leads to sleeping for 10 or 11 hours streight (like I just did instead of writting my paper for Romans). It seems off to me too, but I know that it is God. It's like I have a choice between letting stress drive me and possibly getting everything done, but losing myself in the midst of it, or letting God drive me and keeping my eyes firmly on him while my responsabilities fly by. The thing is, if he says my responsabilities will be ok - they will. That's hard for me to trust, and it's hard for me not to feel like a lazy lump in the midst of it, but I choose to trust him. The trick is to be willing to obey him either way (and to actually do it). If he were to tell you to buck up, crack down, and get to work, would you? IF you can honestly say yes to that, and you still hear "rest" from him, then rest. Rest without guilt or stress or fear. But be willing to move when he says move.
