Weekend Catching Up
I don’t watch jdramas because I’m superficial, I watch for the compelling (and ridiculous) plots. That being said, I can’t comment anything on these dramas other than - hot, hot, hot boys. So if you want reviews that are coherent and meaningful, go someplace else because this one is about me being shallow.

Okay, I’ll try to do better than that -
VOICE
I don’t know what to expect from this jdramaI just want to see Toma in a drama so badly OMG. This is the first medical jdrama I’ve watched and I was wary that this might be like the usual crime procedural and I’m glad it’s nothing like that. But, it’s… nothing like Maou (damn Maou for being so good and making other dramas pale in comparison) so I guess I was kind of disappointed the pilot episode wasn't that engaging. There were some parts that I found myself wandering off, but once the group interactions started, it was really good. The funny moments are unexpected, too, as I thought this would be a straight up drama. I look forward to the next episodes!
UTA NO ONIISAN
Normally, people whining shouldn’t be funny, but OMG, Ohno, I can watch you whine and make faces all day long! He keeps on complaining how his singing brother job is so uncool but look at him dance! He still dances really well! I was LOLing at that!
The only thing I’m kind of disappointed about is that, I didn’t get to hear him sing with his band! I want rocker!Ohno! Can I expect something like this in the future?
MEI-CHAN NO SHITSUJI
God. DAMN. It. HIRO. Why be so hot?
You know, if anybody told me that there’s a school that train girls to become ladies and that there’s a chance that my butler would be someone as hot as Hiro, may... maybe I could have aspired to be more ladylike?
Should I be shipping Hiro with Mei? Because the way he’s protecting her is making me squee. But I’m afraid he’s going to be the Nakatsu in this story and Mei would end up with his brother! Tell me it ain’t so! No wait, I don’t want to know yet!
I like the brothers’ interactions. Hiro bullying Kento and yet maintain his cool composure? Awesome!
I’m thankful for the wonderful subbers who made me so happy with their fast translations! I promise I’ll be a good fangirl and wait patiently in my corner for the subs for episode 2. :D
