life is kinda blah right now. sorta sad but i think im happier when im forced to be productive. probably why i never disliked school all that much. i need to find something to keep me busy.
my family is doing this gift exchange thing instead of buying presents for individual ppl because the economy sucks and everyones stocks are down and a lot of ppl have retired in the last 5 years. i guess it works by having everyone buy a gift and throw it in pile and a random person picks it up and thats their present. that means instead of the normal pain of buying a gift that someone might like, i have to buy a gift for a gender neutral, age irrelevant person who could be anywhere from 16 to 85, and i have to keep it below $25. im not convinced such a gift exists. even if it does, the fact that i have to keep it below $25 means that no human would want it....so i bought dog treats lol
