Through wind and rain we burn bright
Happy new year, merry Christmas etc etc I hope you are all well.
I've had a proper delicious few weeks off from uni, seen a lot of my family and my friends, drunk a lot and laughed a lot. Not necessarily related. I have also received a rather huge amount of bruises from 1) winning a bottle of vodka in a raffle at the rugby and staying out 12 hours with it, Kathrine, my sister and Rossy's fit cousin Janine. 2) spending 4 days in a house with my friends over new year and at times being so cold I couldn't feel when I walked into things and 3) falling down at the shoot onto a frozen puddle. OUCHES. I have had a really good time though! And new year was really lovely, we went to Katy's (<3) house in Bristol and it made a nice change to not have to get dressed up and go out. I've done so much of that this holiday it was nice to be able to just sit around with the people I feel most comfortable with and not worry what I look like, what I say/do or what people think of me. And Katy is one of the bestest people I have in my life right now so it was super good to spend new year with her. She is also fit.
Uni things are starting up again, I'm going in on Wednesday to see my tutor as she has to sign off some of my work, but I haven't actually done it yet so that could be an issue...! I was kinda looking forward to going back to the flat as I had some really nice texts from Chris over new year, but today I had a facebook message from Pav which was really unfriendly. There was no how are you, how was Christmas etc it was literally just 'Do you know whan you'll be back in Plymouth yet?' It sounded a bit stroppy to me as I've not spoken to her all holiday, and she didn't add anything like 'it will be nice to see you' or anything like that. Then she just asked if I'd be there on a certain date cos they're having maintanence done and she wants another £5 off me for internet because she forgot to cancel it! She's a funny one. Not in the haha way. More in the WHAT A MOODY COW way. I just wish that some of my uni mates are in a position to rent a flat with me next year so I don't have to live with weird strangers again but they're all living with partners/parent/kids so :[
