1) Tell you why I friended you.
Cuz you were looking for a flatmate on rentaus, and you liked The Cure.

2) Associate you with a song/film.
The only time I met you, you were wearing a bandanna and looked like a pirate, so I'm gonna go with ... The Sea Hawk, classic Erroll Flynn pirate movie.

3) Tell a random fact about you.
You are not afraid to go head-to-head with an ibis.

4) Tell a first memory about you.
You told me about this LJ-meet up group at Aromas, which I meant to go to, but never did.

5) Associate you with a character/pairing.
WTF? Sorry, I have no idea what the kids mean these days.

6) Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
Who is Will Kemp?

7) Tell you my favourite user picture of yours.
This one's kinda neat. Is it Edward Gorey? I can't tell what it is.

8) In fairness, if you want answers, you should be prepared to repost this in your blag.
No, no, really. Not necessary.

Wow, that was quick!

Will Kemp was a contemporary of Will Shakespeare, for whom WS apparently wrote many of his earlier comic roles, eg Touchstone, Bottom, Speed, Launcelot Gobbo, etc. A very physical comic, and, in his own opinion, it would seem, quite the quick wit, Kemp was a member of WS' troupe The Admiral's Men, until fired, by Shakespeare himself, for 'unnecessary' improvising.

Thank you - but no, not Gorey. My own work, as it happens. From an attempt to illustrate a contemporary, adult, Red Riding Hood graphic novel. Not a terribly original idea, and so that pic's the only one likely to ever get a public airing. It just sums up the function of LJ pretty nicely, to me. ;)
