Title: Worser Things
Rating: R-ish
Pairing: Mylar,of course
Genre: Slash, because it makes the world go round
Notes: This is another one of those "established relationship" fics. AU-ish, I guess. There's mentions of snuff, but nothing really hard core.
Summary: He's done worser things

Don't get too close, Sylar...

Don't get too...

But oh what those eyes have seen and yet they still burn him. They burn him like a flame has caught fire in his heart and has set him ablaze. There'll come a day when those eyes will close and never, ever open again, and it will be Sylar's doing. It will be his hand that squeezes Mohinder's precious throat, cutting off the air and watching those eyes bulge, disbelief and betrayal swimming in their depths like schools and schools of panicked fish, before the light dims and those dark, black orbs close forever. Forever, and it's an awfully long time to consider.

But he can't get too close to the good doctor because the man's not stupid and Sylar's seen the furtive glances Mohinder has shot his way. He has seen those looks of suspicion when sometimes Sylar comes through and smiles that smile that drips like slime along his face and Zane drops away.

In that split second, Mohinder can see...He can see the psycho underneath. And one day, he'll come too close. He'll come too close and Sylar will have to...

But...dammit if those eyes don't blaze like an inferno when Mohinder's stiff but calm persona falls away and reveals the spark that keeps Sylar hooked like the most exquisite drug; he can be such a fiery lover at those times, and sometimes it makes Sylar ache for Gabriel and the tentive man that he had been, ache for the missed opportunities and the chances to make another man wriggle and moan and gasp and cry out as he does Mohinder, and then he sees those eyes...

Those dark eyes...

They draw him in and he feels like he can get lost in that gaze. That he's not Sylar or Gabriel or Zane or whoever the fuck he's playing at this week. He's nobody and nothing and that, for once, is not a bad thing. Not anymore. And he doesn't want to have to kill Mohinder, he doesn't want to see that light die.

But he's Sylar...

And he's done much worse things than kill the love of his life...
