I have to admit, this isn't exactly what I had in mind when I came up with that prompt. But this is SO much cooler! Are you actually going to continue it, because that would be flippin awesome!

Yup, I'm actually gonna continue it- I've had steampunk on the brain, and the second I heard AU the two ideas stuck together and wouldn't quit making out. Again, extremely relieved you like. Happy Yulersaturnalia in July. :)

I have to second the idea that this would be an interesting verse to see a follow up to. Cool prompt and fic! Very AU :-) I like Sylar being taken with Mohinder and the fact that Mohinder did indeed shoot the gun. That finger cooling bit was quite sexy :-)

Love it! Adore the AU setting, the defiant yet resigned Captain Mohinder, the cheesy teasing from Claude, the rest of the gang as soldiers and the sexual chemistry between Mohinder and Sylar! I'd like to know why Matt is so scandalised as well, is Sylar imagining getting down and dirty with the gorgeous Captain. :-)

Claude is so damn convenient. You can throw him anywhere, really. Pirate ship? Claude. Safari? Claude. Sci-fi? Claude. You barely have to do anything to him and he just goes. If Mohinder's is fandom's bicycle, then Claude is fandom's wind-up toy.

I'm not sure how that metaphor makes sense, but... yeah. :)

Mohinder knows he's gonna die...he's scared...he's resigned...and he continues on anyway! And yet...and yet...

GAH! I could just plunge into this story again like jumping into a cool body of water on a really hot day...
