I didn't think about Shanti at all until Chandra mentioned her. That makes it extra sad that Mohinder said he didn't want Chandra to have anything to do with Manisha. :(

But it turned out okay in the end! Hooray! :)

Since it's Chandra, I felt I had to work in a Shanti reference. It's hard to imagine him seeing the baby and not thinking of her :-\

I really like the fight in the beginning. and it's so easy to imagine Mohinder and Chandra fighting like that.

Sorry it took me so long to read this... damn homework!

D'aww, you have captured Mohinder's fight/make up pattern so well :D

I really liked how you worked in references to Shanti. I was a little surprised (forgot this was an au) that Mohinder had never heard of her, and it was very tragic how Chandra, in his stumbling attempts to connect with his son/granddaughter, still can't disengage from her ghost :( great story!

I feel your homework pain. I've been bogged down by a lot of school work lately since we're coming to the close of the fall term.

Chandra is clearly a guy who could not let go of his past, and someone with a lot more feelings than he lets on. :-\
