May I echo
edmndclotworthy sentiments and give a huge THANK YOU to you all for your concern and thoughts for us. It is so greatly appreciated.
All the people I was concerned about are safe and sound - One friend texted me at 12.20 this morning/night!!! My friend Pooja was fine - she was on her way into work and her train was turned back. She was on the line which was hit at King's Cross and was running late. If she had been on time....well, we won't go there.
However, I am SO angry at the bank - local department chiefs have been telling their people NOT TO COME INTO WORK and then the higher level chief says everyone MUST come in. Not an issue for me of course as I am on A/L but thats not the point. People should be encouraged to STAY at home. Where is the bank's duty of care to its employees??? Sorry - I'll stop ranting now. I need to get ready to go to Kentwell now.
And I promise I DID eat my breakfast today - It was a nice mini omelette with Kentwell Rare Breed Oak Smoked Ham chopped in it and baked in the Aga oven. My appetite did totally desert me yesterday.
Am off to Kentwell now. I'll catch up again tonight.
Thanks again to you all - you are a great family.
Bess.
