Wow... thanks, couz. Great answers all. (And I'd definitely support your political campaign!) Would love to talk more about #4 someday -- thanks especially for that one.
If you don't want to chase #5, that's fine. The more general question i should have asked was: "How, if at all, has being a parent changed your outlook on life? What do you feel you've learned? What do you wish you'd learned before you started?"
1. Pick 5 major label/commercial/pop bands/singers that you dig (not progressive rock bands). Who are they and why?
2. The Salmon Brothers get sufficient financial backing to build a restaurant from the ground up in Ann Arbor. Where do we build, and what is the decor?
3. What would a politician need to say or do to convince you to not only vote for them, but volunteer time or materials to their campaign?
4. When did your family first come to the U.S? From what region of Italy?
5. You get to have 3 dead musicians backup your vocals on a track for a solo project you are working on, who are they? And considering my music ignorance, what instruments are they playing?
#1: not sure how I got it, but I have high levels of heavy metals in my blood. might be my musical tastes from youth.
#2: well, I was born there, but I don't know much about Indiana. Ask Momoko. She lived there a long time, unlike me.
#3: Have any of us been in a Chauncey story?
#4: I varnish stuff, do tone coats, prepping with sandpaper, repairing with wax sticks, that kind of thing. it's fairly cool, except when it is too hot : )
I'm going to answer them all in one fell swoop...I'm not gonna keep going back to do this meme. I'm waiting for it to die out, then I'll do the massive post.
