This past week has been a blast with nothing really to complain about. I mean, of course, I’m not quite where I’m supposed to be yet - but we all need things to aim for now don’t we? Yes, yes we do.  So here’s what we’ve been up to.

Maelstrom: Maelstrom was awesome.  There’s far too much of it that is foip, but it was excellent to see maelstrom bods, new and old. I’m really glad I went and really look forward to the next one.

House: The House continues to be lovely.  We’re getting new windows (perhaps) in the near future.  My only issue is the cats (or more exactly Jaxx) who keeps piddling on one of the chairs.  I’m hoping now he can go outside (I need to get collars for them today before I let them out when I get home) this may stop.  The only other thing house wise - I need to strip my life a tad.  I’m in a smaller room now and have a lot of junk.  This may help by getting my bookshelves to the house.  Continuous poking of my brother to borrow the van has garnered little response - which is something irksome (said brother owes me y’see) as I don’t like leaving Katie and Karl in the lurch.

Diet: Started to have breakfast in the morning.  It’s a new thing for me as I’m never really hungry until about 11 normally, but I’ve been forcing to down cos it’s good for me.  I’m still not eating my five a day yet - I’m up to about 3 a day and I’m really trying for those other two - in the mean time - I’m taking vitamin supplements. The diet continues to be healthy however.  No fried food, fresh fruit and vegetables - it’s not reducing the waistline (and I don’t really need to reduce it, just tone it) but it is making me feel a lot better in the mornings.  Presently I’m getting about 6 hours sleep a night (which includes the cats trying to enforce their regime on me) and I feel fine.  Chipper even.

Exercise: Ran two miles at lunch time yesterday.  It made me want to die and now I hurt.  Although, it’s getting better - last time I did it… I thought I’d died and I really, really hurt.  Early days, but still.
