Why do i let people walk all over me and things still be the same?

Well... i was thinking about it and i happens all the time. I can do the biggest favor for someone and they will still continue to walk all over me. Or someone will be your bestfriend and then when someone else is around they act like you dont even exsist... then try talking to you
